From the 14th-18th June, we are holding a virtual work experience week for our students here at Dv8 Sussex.
 
The students will be working on their own separate briefs depending on their course, alongside our guest mentors from the games, music and media industry.
 
We are delighted to share with you the guest mentors for the week, who we are so grateful to for volunteering their time.
 
1. Blaise Imiolczyk (they/them) – Senior Games Designer at The Chinese Room
Blaise focuses on narrative, systems, user experience and accessibility. Before joining The Chinese Room, they worked on titles such as Battlefied V and Need for Speed: Heat.
 
2. George Donaghue – Audio Production Tutor at WaterBear – The College of Music
Georges works have been played on BBC Radio 1, KRQQ, Amazing Radio, BBC Music Introducing and have reached No.1 in the independent charts. He is a freelance record producer, mix engineer, songwriter and musician based in Brighton, specialising in Alt-Rock / Pop and Metal.
 
3. Adam Bushell – CEO & Drums Tutor at WaterBear – The College of Music
Adam has played for many top-level bands and artists including Freak Power, Will Young, Martha Reeves, Sam Brown, Phil Hilborne, Richie Kotzen, José Feliciano and Jason Derulo. He’s a regular contributor to Rhythm Magazine and as a drum tutor, has guided the development of many hundreds of students, both privately and at various renowned music institutions.
 
4. Dan Matthews – Producer/Director at Ramshackle Productions/Luma
Dan has worked as a producer and director in TV & digital for over ten years. He started his career in broadcast, and was one of the first TV producers to ‘cross over’ to digital, as the channel producer of YouTube Transmitter TV. Dan also worked as an executive producer at Disney Maker Studios.
