Smart Branding Co is a specialist company who work with small business owners. They help them to improve their brand and marketing position by sourcing more leads and increasing sales.
Smart Branding Co is looking for a young person with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and an enquiring mind to work as part of their small, friendly team based near Hove station. You will be assisting the business owner who, as well as being an entrepreneur, is also an international speaker and author – therefore there may be the opportunity for some international travel. As your confidence and experience grows you will have the opportunity to take on more complex tasks appropriate to your needs and to specialise in the areas of the business that most meet your interest and talents.
Some of the tasks you will be carrying out on a daily basis are:
- Using WordPress sites to amend and create new web pages
- Carrying out market research based on strategic keywords
- Posting on social media such as Twitter (using Hootsuite)
- Applying marketing and branding strategies to LIVE projects
- Speaking with customers on the telephone
- Using Photoshop and Illustrator to create simple graphical banners and images
- Writing short blogs on marketing and branding
- Produce short videos using Sony Vegas Pro 12
Don’t worry if you don’t yet know how to do some of the above. For every task, you will be given lots of help and training and you will be properly inducted into all areas of the business in the first two months of your Apprenticeship.
