Dv8 has teamed up with Bexhill Museum for ‘Newsflash!’, a project to bring stories from the past back to life. Performance learners have been exploring the Museum’s newspaper archives from the last hundred years and attending special workshops. They’ve uncovered some juicy stories and have been working to develop these into site specific performances at the Museum on Friday 7th December.

This is the second time Dv8 has teamed up with Bexhill Museum under the Stories of The World programme, funded by Arts Council England. Project Manager Rachel Hemingway-Hurst says

“We are delighted to be working in partnership with Dv8 on
our new project, working with these young people is a breath of fresh
air, their enthusiasm and energy is infectious and we are really excited
about creating a site specific performance at the museum to bring the
objects to life and showcase their talents.”

The performance is taking place at Bexhill Museum at 6.30pm on Friday 7th December, refreshments will be provided. Entry is FREE, but places are limited  so please call the Museum on 01424 787950 to confirm your place. Featuring a famous detective, scandal, murder and more, this is an evening not to be missed!
