Tuggy Fresh, or Eliot as we call him, studied Music and Media Upload right here with us guys at Dv8. After Dv8, his music career took off massively, and now he’s back to give us an insight into what’s going on with him. We’ll let Tuggy take it from here.

“Dv8 helped me to get where I am today by boosting my confidence both musically and in general; they helped me massively through the intensive courses that they provide.

There is no such thing as a typical day for me now; going up and down the country, writing new material, going to the studio, acting in a YouTube series and in films – which have been directed, written and edited by up and coming film makers, performing and lots more!

The best part of being Tuggy Fresh is when people tell me that they were moved by my music or that it gave them goose bumps, that they can relate or that they can take something and learn from it. All the time my music is doing these things my music is doing all I can ask it to, it’s rewarding beyond words.

My plans for the future are in the process of being planned really, but of course I’ll stick to doing more and more music, being consistent and holding up a buzz. I’ll also be doing more acting because it’s something I really enjoy doing. Mostly my plans for the future are to be living happily and comfortably.

Some of you might know I’ve just released an EP called Thunderous Thoughts (free download here) and I’m currently working on a mix-tape that will be released under ReadyTaBlow Records, and is due to drop around June 2013 – so keep your eyes peeled for that!”
