Ingredients Of Social Media Cocktail

Buffer allows users to add content without difficulty while browsing. It has deep integration with numerous apps and allows users to share through social networks at preset times. Even though it prevents the flooding of updates, Buffer spreads these updates over longer periods of time preconfigured by the user. Before sharing and engaging with fans and followers, keep in mind that it is not always about you. Be responsible for the value of the content you share, and make it as relevant as it is timely. Mention your business but with the right context.

1. Content curation. Think outside of the box. Come up with new content and do not always share the same thing everybody shares.

2. Blog. Writing is hard at times. However, it is the most effective way to generate original content worthy of sharing. Write words every day. By the end of the week, you will have at least two blogs or articles to post.

3. Facebook is irresistible, at least for most of us. You probably have seen a fair share of animals and quotes on the social network, so have your fans and followers. Thus, limit your status updates to one, plus a handful of comments on friends’ posts. Proven methods to boost user engagement on your business page are available.

4. Twitter. Rather than spend time following as many as people as possible on the platform, follow only a few people who have original content to share, retweet the content, and maybe add a DM while you are at it. People sometimes feel indebted to follow back their followers. In reality, these people are highly unlikely to interact with you in the future.

5. LinkedIn is the definitive social network created for professionals. Connect with your peers, endorse their skills, enter an industry group, join a discussion, or answer a question. Bottom line: take advantage of all the LinkedIn features thrown at you.

6. Google+. Google – the world’s dominant search engine provider and online advertising company – likes its social network a lot.  No further explanation required. Add as much people as you can to your circles and comment on an interesting post.

7. Social bookmarking spreads content. Going to all social networking sites may be dull and tedious so use a social bookmarking site, such as StumbleUpon.

8. Analytics. No matter what social media platform you are on, it is always great to see how your online campaign pays off.
