Learners getting ready for the big broadcast
Dv8 Bexhill learners are very excited to have been asked to be radio presenters for one hour on Eastbourne Youth Radio this Friday. Dv8 has taken part in this event for several years and are pulling out all the stops for this year’s installment. The Music and Performance groups will be teaming up to give you an unmissable hour of fun and laughter.
Eastbourne Youth Radio is a radio station run by young people for young people in and around the Eastbourne area that broadcasts once a year. It’s a project aiming to get young people involved in the media industries by helping them to produce and broadcast their very own show, by doing this they get the opportunity to learn all about the life of a radio presenter and how a radio studio works in an exciting and unique way.
This year’s broadcast on 87.7fm runs from 14th November until 16th November, with a range of schools, local businesses and other organisations all getting involved in one way or another. If you can’t get hold of a radio you can always listen live HERE.
The Dv8 presenters will be on from 2-3pm on Friday 16th with a fresh mix of live acoustic music, some Dv8 rapping, a comic take on the classic Cinderella story and some other surprises thrown in. So remember to tune in, you definitely don’t want to miss this!
