Taking place during the 2013 Creative, Digital & IT Open Studios week (organised by Wired Sussex and forming part of Brighton Digital Festival ) Brightwave and Dv8 are joining forces to present ‘Thinking about apprenticeships? Brightwave & DV8 share the model in action’.

Taking place on Wednesday 25th September 2013 at Brightwave’s office in central Brighton, the event will showcase the successful partnership between Brightwave and Dv8 that has seen Brightwave take on three apprentices under the Creative and Digital Media Advanced Apprenticeship scheme launched last year.

The event will aim to answer just some of these questions :

  • What are apprenticeships, really?
  • What’s in it for Brighton digital business?
  • What does an apprentice look like?
  • Why did Brightwave join the scheme
  • A year on, how has it worked for Brightwave?

Plus, a chance to hear from Brightwave’s own apprentices who will showcase the quality of work they’ve produced.

Refreshments will be provided and there will be plenty of opportunity for networking and Q&A with each of the presenters.

Date: Wednesday 25th September
Time: 16.00 to 18.00
Location: Brightwave office (International House, Queens Road, Brighton, BN1 3XE)
