Dv8 are taking part in Movember this year for charity with two of the senior management team, Dan and Rich, getting fully involved and hairy. We’ll be eagerly watching their progress (or should we say mogress) over the month.
For those of you not yet in the know about the Mo, every year during November thousands of men cultivate top lip topiary to help raise funds and awareness for men’s health, in particular prostate and testicular cancers.
On the 1st of November all ‘Mo Bros’ must start the month with a clean-shaven face and spend the entire month growing and grooming their ‘tache. To make things more difficult there are certain rules every ‘Mo Bro’ must follow regarding the specifics of the ‘Mo’ and the behavior of the ‘Bro’, including “conducting himself like a true gentleman”… We’ll be watching you Dan and Rich!!
Rich, who is taking part for the second year in a row, says
“This cause is really important to Dv8. We work with a lot of young men, who statistically are the group that tends to look after their health the least, so it’s really important to us to raise awareness around men’s health issues.”
