Following on from December’s Alumni Profile, Oliver Redman, we were delighted to have spoken to Julia, a past Games Development student, who left us in 2020.

At Dv8 I learned valuable skills that I’m able to apply to my work at Uni.
3. What are you currently up to? Studying at university/ working full time?
Since Dv8, I’ve gone on to study Games Art & Design at Brighton University. With newfound skills and connections I was able to work as staff and a helping hand at Develop: Brighton, the UK’s largest gaming conference. There I managed to form new connections and gain valuable insight into the games industry, listening to talks from creators of some of my favourite games and games companies.
