On2 Music Production - For 16-19 year olds - At DV8 Bexhill and Brighton

 

Learn how to create music using industry standard computer software. Find out about the music business and how to promote yourself from our Dv8 tutors who are all professionals (DJ’s, producers, live musicians etc). Get the chance to be involved in a single release. All this and you can gain a nationally recognised qualification at the same time!

For this course you need to be 16-19 and not enrolled on another course.

You can take Music Production at Level 1 or Level 2:

Level 1, September – December 2012: 12 weeks long, and suitable for both beginners or those already with experience who want to develop their skills. This course is the first of a possible three terms at Dv8, with the opportunity of progression onto Level 1 Creative Upload or onto Level 2 Music Production, in terms two and three.

Level 2, January – June 2013: 22 weeks long, goes into more depth and provides the foundation skills for moving onto Level 3 Music Production courses. Prior experience is ideal but not essential. During this course you could have an opportunity to perform at a live event.

Opportunities for work experience placements in the creative industries on both courses.

You could earn the following qualifications:

• Level 1 or Level 2 qualification from Rock School
• Functional skills Maths
• Functional skills English
