Media Production had another very busy last week beginning the practical side of their course project and taking a little trip outside of Dv8…

They’ve been commissioned to work with their fellow Music Production and Fashion students to create a portfolio of photos that showcase their creative talents and identity. These photographs will be used by the students for promotional purposes such as press shots and fashion collection lookbooks. The shoots the media guys are planning with their clients will allow them to experiment with photographic techniques ranging from lighting to composition and aperture control to image manipulation.

As if starting the Dv8 Rising photo shoot wasn’t enough to keep guys busy, both Beginner and Intermediate students took a trip to BERG, an immersive series of film set installations by art director, Anna Dreamer inspired the Novel BERG by Ann Quin.  Previous Media Production student Yahmina Kesner worked as Anna’s assistant in the creation of these amazing sets.
