Live Event Production

Live event planning and event management course, for 16-19 year olds, at Dv8 Brighton

Learn about the diverse events planning sector, including festivals, one-off events and tours.  Use your newfound knowledge to create, promote and deliver Dv8’s biggest end of year event ever. With expert tuition from our professional event producers, you’ll get hands on experience in stage and artist management, a Level 2 qualification and something amazing to put on your CV. 2013 marks 10 years of Dv8 in Brighton, so the event will be exciting, memorable, and really special to be a part of!

For this course you need to be 16-19 and not enrolled on another course.

This is a Level 2 course.

 

February – July 2013: 16 week course, 2 days a week.

Opportunities for work experience in the creative industries. Previous placements have included the Great Escape Festival, The Big Dance 2012, Elderflower Fields Festival and more.

You could earn the following qualifications:

• Level 2 nationally recognised vocational qualification
• Functional skills Maths
• Functional skills English
