On Saturday 5th May, Dv8 Brighton opened its doors to young adults from across Brighton, Hove and beyond for ‘dv8live’ – a creative careers event to get young people inspired by the arts and media professions.
The all day event featured 8 industry guests from a range of companies and freelance initiatives. They dished the dirt and shared real-life experiences during Q & A sessions, and gave young people individual advice and tips. Attendees were given a valuable opportunity to network with the industry guests, as well as taking part in exciting workshops in sampling, light painting and more.
A big Dv8 shout-out and many many thanks go to our guests:
– Vanessa Austin Locke: Brighton Fashion Week
– Jon Hume: Catch Digital
– John Higgs: Impossible TV
– Wayne Imms: The Space
– Christopher Rye: electro musician
– Phil Jackson: BBC Sussex
– Stuart Hehir – Pegasus PR
– Carl Loben – DJ Mag / Westway Records
